Back in the days of the Ancients (late 70s/early 80s) there was a Magazine
which, in defiance of the growing tide of Militant Feminism, still
dared to visually portray the inherent link between the two main forms
of beauty in the minds of that arch-tool maker, Man. That is, pictures
of naked girlies sitting, squatting, draped, astride, mounting or straddling
...bikes!
Alas, in the newly politically correct days of the 80s this was terminated,
deemed an anachronistic hang-over from the cave-man days (anything before
1970). Instead those glorious, gleaming, machined, forged, welded
and pressed tools of our eternal lust (the bikes, you fool) languished
forlorn and lost, bereft of the the soft caress of satin, lace, cotton,
spandex and ....flesh.
Now that we're equal, what with women having the right to vote and all, its suddenly become acceptable to utilise (not exploit) feminine images as a legitimate marketing tool to entice customers to ones product. And so....the Superbike Girls returned. Not only are the bikes prettier now but so are the girls. Through assessment of the two eras it has become apparent that in only 20 years women have undergone rapid (and unexplainable) changes. Their breasts are now more protuberant and pointed more enthusiastically skywards, and, if you peruse the American girlie scene (Playboy et al) apparently women have lost the ability to produce pubic hair...something to do with the ozone layer perhaps. Anyway..less waffle, heres the Girls of Superbike Magazine. |
